Game Settings

Trying something a tad different here. I am setting up a mailing list for each league, Baseball, Football, Hoops and Soccer. I'll only use these lists to periodically send out announcements about each series, like when registration begins, closes, major league updates, standings and such. I won't use it to spam ya, promise. If you ever see more than one of these a week, call me on it please. (heck you'd be lucky to get 10 notices a year, much less 52) Currently I only have the football list up and working, and it only has the teams that are registered this season. As I open up the other list's I'll do the same. Just guys that have played with us. If ever you want to unsubscribe from one of the leagues lists, there should be a link on each mail. wr

H0rt and I are working on an art redesign for the site. I really want to keep the travel ovals in play somehow, since they capture the vast diversity of people we have coming to this board, but i agree it needs a makeover. Nothing gaudy, and generally small. That's my main requirement. I dont' want it to take away from the writing, just highlight it a touch.

H2HWS .. do you play?

I have been kicking around the idea of restructuring the H2H World Series, for some time. I have always wanted to give the tournament better definition, and a better sense of overall fairness. As many of you know, we have a larger number of players from the United States than we do world wide, at the moment. But those USA teams have a longer path to the World Series itself. This is only a small reasoning for the changes though.

Standard Settings.

• Scoring Type: Head-to-Head
• Player Universe: All baseball
• Max Moves: 50
• Trade Reject Time: 2 Days
• Waiver Time: 2 days
• Trade Review: League Votes
• Min Innings Pitched: 20
• Weekly Deadline: Daily
