It shouldn't come as any surprise that Chase Utley is clearly the best in todays game, but I bet you didn't know that he is three time more valuable than the second, 2B on the list.
Kinsler signs long term
Ian Kinsler gives up a year of free agency and the Rangers lock him up through his peak years, real cheap. This an excellent signing for Texas. 5 years 22 million.
The Rangers and second baseman Ian Kinsler agreed Tuesday on a five-year, $22 million contract with a club option valued at $10 million for the 2013 season. If the Rangers decline the option, Kinsler would get a $500,000 buyout.
