I didn't kick out a chatter yesterday. It was all drawn up, and I have a number of solid pieces in there, but it is all old news by now. Not only that, there is no chatter. No opinion, nothing. Just a bunch of links to day old news. So I didn't publish it.

So when I sat down this evening to pen out Wednesday's chatter, I figured why write two pieces, when I can just write one. Tomorrows.

I can just use yesterdays links out as a fake chatter. Just links mostly. Besides. I seriously doubt any of the guys i am linking to would be upset about being linked to. Know what I mean.

I gotta tell ya, It is nice to finally see some positive media on the guy again. It has been missing for far too long. Never-mind this is the same media that chased him away from the game in the first place .. right?

I bet there is a word for that. ;)

Most teams have now played at least one game. Your Ace has been roughed up and your stud hitter went 0-5. Is it time to panic?!

Of course not! But here are a few early reflections on yesterday's games.

As many of our Fantasy Baseball '08 Drafts fast approach (or have already approached), it seems like a good time to go over a few of the Dos and Do Nots that could mean the difference between participating in next year's Master's League or next year's Pond Scum League...

I am constantly seeing 'Players You Must Have in '08', 'Deep Sleepers in '08', 'Late Round '08 Steals', etc., etc., etc.

But what about the players who are staring you in the face as your pick approaches, and you know that deep down, you must pass?  Who are these mystery men of 2008?

Today I was reminiscing over some of the recent hot starts that people jumped out and sold their soul for, only to have the player fall not only back to Earth, but sometimes into the depths of fantasy hell... level-headedness is rewarded -- don't let this happen to you in '08...

Jimmy Rollins can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The Gold Glove shortstop and Silver Slugger winner was named the National League Most Valuable Player this afternoon, giving the Philadelphia Phillies the NL MVP in consecutive seasons.
