I gotta tell ya, It is nice to finally see some positive media on the guy again. It has been missing for far too long. Never-mind this is the same media that chased him away from the game in the first place .. right?

Jeff certainly is not the first to cross the line, he certainly will not be the last. I suspect in five years enough names will have been tossed against the wall, most of the hostility will have died down. Bonds will get in.
I’ll still vote for Barry Bonds the first time he’s eligible and judge every other player of his generation without taking any involvement - rumoured or proven - with performance enhancers into question. There are enough people who believe professional athletics is all about sacrifice and blah blah blah and playing a "kid’s game" and blah blah blah.

I agree. I hope the Hall of Fame does call his bluff. Comes right and says, I don't want you.You'd then have the all time hits leader, all time homeruns leader, and single season homerun leader, banned from the hall. Leave it to a Bay area newspaper to lead the charge too. Classic stuff
