Scott Baker is a solid young pitcher to own in any H2H play. Baker is fairly consistent, and is posting a k/9 of 7.91 so far this season. You can't complain about that 6/1 K/BB percentage either.
If Scott Baker is on your waiver wire, don't be afraid to take a gamble on the 26 year old.
According to The Sports Xchange notes: LHP Glen Perkins' next start will be flopped with RHP Boof Bonser's, moving Perkins up to Friday against the Yankees. Manager Ron Gardenhire hasn't announced anything further plans, but Bonser's start Saturday will coincide with RHP Scott Baker's rehab start for Class A Fort Myers -- making it easy to insert Baker into Bonser's spot if he is cleared to return from a groin injury that has kept him out of the rotation since May 3. Bonser has not won his past five starts, and he has a 9.59 ERA in May.
