With Twins shortstop Adam Everett hitting the DL again, Minnesota manager Ron Gardenshire has moved Brendan Harris over to short from second base, and they are giving Alexi Casilla another look at second base.
Casilla is a 23 year old second baseman with zero power, but amazing speed. Think of him as a young Luis Castillo clone, and in deeper leagues, he should be added to your watch list. Casilla has over 200 stolen base attempts in just under 1500 minor league AB's.
The Minnesota Twins placed Everett on the 15-day DL ? again - because of pain in his right shoulder. He had appeared in 16 games since being activated from his first stint on the DL on May 2. He hit .191 in 47 at-bats since then. He went on the DL originally on April 15 with right shoulder strain.
