Hank Blalock volunteered to move to first base when he comes off the disabled list: "It's his decision," Texas manager Ron Washington said. "He said he had looked at the team and thought he could help the squad more at.
It sure seems like Hank Blalock has been around for ever, doesn't it? I was really surprised the other evening when I was researching Blalock, to find out he is only 27 years old. I was thinking early 30's for some reason.
I know Blalock has been kind of banged up over the last couple seasons, and his power number have been down, but I have a hard time believing that Hank Blalock doesn't have a few 25/30 homerun seasons left in him.
