H2HWS: Illinois week 5

Week one leader, "Willcounty" hits the bottom, Auburn Blaze and East Moline Edge have good weeks. Have the Intimidators finally learned the art of intimidating?

In a week where anxious owners waited and waited for Troy T and Yovanni to be placed on waivers, the downside of the waiting was usually poor weeks and some finally gave in and dropped them, this may have happened to I from minnesota (last week's leader) as they picked up E Aybar Friday dropping Troy, Panola knowing Scott K was to come back Sunday, just switched their positions when Yovanni finally was placed on the DL by Yahoo.

Dodge finally gave up on Andruw, Skip found a home in minnesota, Jonathan Sanchez found a place that wanted him in Bashing. Auburn shuffled some players and added Carlos Quentin, Jarrod Saltalamacchia among others.

Others joining the homeless include Khalil, Doumit (now an Illini as we type here), JR Towles, Liriano, Ankiel, Corpas, Lowell, Maddux and Rich Hill.

A few teams have asked the Panola team to take slow performers off their hands, but management has not complied with them as of yet, although they did add a kid named Max and Matt Kemp as injuries to BJ, Jacoby, Yunel, Chone and Yovanni have taken their toll.

Good solid work. You got both those teams in the fight early on, and really, ya can't ask for much more than that.

I couldn't help but notice though, you seem to play a better H2H game, than you do "contract dynasties with limited budgets, limited roster room. and crazy owners." .. game.

.. Just an observation :)

go padres!

I play better H2H period than roto, H2H and Roto are two different beasts alltogether and since I am very active as opposed to the long slow process in the evolving of roto leagues, H2H is much more my style, although having a little difficulty getting out of the box this year in most.

I win just as often in H2H dynastys (1 out of 3 last year, 2nd in one of the others), keepers (5 out of 9 last year) , etc as I do in yearly leagues, but it don't stop me from competing with my all though in rotos as I have won two NL onlys and one Mixed roto, though they were probably more luck than anything as the leagues I was in had a lot of inactive owners or fellow H2H owners a tryin' something different.
