So, once again, enormous congratulations to Norwich, and commiserations to Muenster, who fought all the way. That's it from me for the H2HWS, at least until 2011 (hopefully!) I'll still be blogging here and there on rotodatabase.com, but it will be a new man at the helm with regards to the H2HWS in 2010. In the meantime, I'll just have to win the H2HSB instead...

Many congratulations on your title Norwich. Its a long hard fight to get that title right there, and I hope you are stoked about earning it. Brag about it often. You certainly earned it.

mad props

 Thanks wr!

Yeah, it does mean a lot. To beat Chris,, Ray and a whole load of other guys who really know their baseball is just brilliant.

I had a lot of luck, and probably the perfect season. My draft couldn't have worked out much better (despite picking Quentin in round 2, and Aramis Ramirez in the third). Virtually all of my mid to late round picks played way better than their draft position (particularly Wandy & Reynolds).

And then I made good decisions in the first month to pick up Lind, Aardsma and Kubel. All three were huge for me all season. The only decision I missed on was taking Bonifacio in week one instead of Aaron Hill, which I almost did.

I think I probably had some luck with scheduling too. Every week the team was relatively poor, so was my opponent. That's just luck! I don't think there is any chance of going through a season again only losing twice (both times by the narrowest of margins), with the odd tie thrown in.

But I'm looking forward to trying next year! :)

Congrats Norwich, enjoy your title. I'll be making my first appearance in the H2HWS next year to challenge you for your title.
