Cahill's front-door sinker

Trevor Cahill is on the mound tonight and manager Bob Geren said he's working on a front-door sinker like the one that Greg Maddux used to such great effect. Cahill has moved over on the rubber to make the pitch work against left-handers; Geren said it's still a work in progress but it looks better. If you see a pitch that heads toward left-handed hitters then breaks back across the plate, that's it. Lefties are batting .311 against Cahill going into tonight.
