Well it's cool to be up there, now if my teams would just do something in the playoffs.
to get 'em together somewhere
if this is ever put together
we could probably get away with it now that we are limiting the guys to one team each.
But if you guys are suggesting an 18 team league, i'm in.
an 18 team league
well it is an all star game, and at an all star game, we need lots of stars
I look forward to getting an invite for this league in a couple years.
I missed the draft last year in the Michigan league and was in the top 25 for winning % and won the second year in a row. Ready for some stiffer competition.
I'd be willing to try this out still. I don't think a few of those players played last season and so, they'll need to be tracked down.
I've played against more than half of these guys, but I'd look forward to playing some other competition in the series in a deep league.
I'd try it.
Did we ever decide to do this this year? Because I for one think it would be awesome.
I am giving it a ton of thought this season. I'd say I am 75% yes. It would be an invite league only, and there would be no shame in turning down the invite because you wanted to focus on your main league. But I think we could/would draw some of the leagues top talent regardless of region.
The only reason I would decide not to do this at this point is league growth.
I really want to focus on getting 30 quality teams per USA region (A and B leagues), and kicking up the competition in those leagues. I'd like to make it so that if you win the East, it has almost as much meaning as the H2HWS itself. That type of thing.
We are close to 30 in the East, West. The Great Lakes and the South are a touch behind, and the Midwest needs to see a 100% increase in the number of teams for this to happen. (we had no Midwest B division last season.)
But hey here is an idea.
Why don't you organize it. I'll get you data on all the teams, and you can make the decision on who gets the invites ..
What do you think ?..
Oh and based upon your play in the series (the only team 200 games over .500 in their career) you would be a natural to participate.
I wouldn't mind at all helping getting this runnig.
ok Chris, here is a good place to start. its not complete yet as i screwed up some data, and am working to fix it, but its a great place to start picking your teams.
...
would go for it
Count me in.
