A collection of scribes to help you set your week one roster. If there is somebody you like to read regularly, let me know, and we will be sure to link to them. I will probably pare this list down a bit as the season goes on, in an attempt to just keep the best sources of information.
hope it helps.
KFFL Fantasy Football Insider - Week 1
KFFL's Fantasy Football Insider for Week 1 is here. Each week, KFFL dishes the dirt with our network of insiders with every NFL team. Along the way, juicy tidbits will emerge to help determine your fantasy football team's lineup for the given week. Here are some of the key fantasy football tidbits that came across our desk for the upcoming week....
Jamey Eisenberg Week 1 Start 'Em and Sit 'Em
For those of you not familiar with this column, this is where you come to find who has the best and worst matchups from around the NFL and how they might affect lineup decisions with your Fantasy Football team.
You'll also find we are not in the business of stating the obvious, so you won't be reading here why you need to start Tom Brady, LaDainian Tomlinson or any other top-tier players.
But we're also not afraid to say bench those guys if we don't think they're worth using that particular week. It's up to you to trust our opinion (and to form your own), and we promise not to let you down.
Evan Silva Last Minute Decisions
Dwayne Bowe put up numbers uncommon for a rookie wideout in 2007. His 70-995-14.2-5 stat line was easily the best among all first-year receivers, with Calvin Johnson (48-756-15.8-5) and James Jones (47-676-14.4-2) a distant second and third. Bowe turned in this spectacular debut despite missing a big chunk of training camp due to a holdout. Clearly, the big fella was ready for the NFL.

Here are some of the top names listed on the injury report for Week 1
Pete Prisco Power Rankings
As I prepared the first regular-season batch of our Power Rankings -- opening up the season of rip jobs -- I kept scanning the bottom half of the league to try and come up with a team that will shock us all, be better than we thought, and make the usual mockery of this first set of rankings.
It happens to me -- and you -- every season. Why not again this season?
Corey Bertram McNabb primed for solid Week 1
Never sit WRs Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson, barring injury. Quarterback Jon Kitna may actually be more effective with Mike Martz gone, as the team will be more balanced. Kitna is a very good play this week.
Christopher Harris ESPN The Breakdown
This summer, when I was asked to pick a five-win team (or worse) from 2007 that will make the biggest turnaround, I stuck my finger in the air and picked the Raiders. Sure, they made some crummy personnel decisions this winter, but I still think they'll be the mega-surprise team (there's one every year) of '08. There are some great skill-position athletes here. It'll be a matter of a weak division, a relatively weak overall schedule and some dumb luck.
Brad Evans Bringin' the Noise: Off the cuff
Here are this week's flames, lames and stars of video games:
Each week the Noise highlights five somewhat obscure, unobvious names who he believes are destined for flame madness or lame sadness. In honor of waiver wire hero Ron Dayne's legendary three-game dominance late in '06, the "Shocker Special" segment spotlights one player owned in less than a third of Yahoo! leagues who is poised for instant greatness. The Noise, an accountability advocate, will tally his hits and misses and post the results, whether genius or moronic, each week using the scoring system listed at the end of the lames segment.
Andy Behrens Juggernaut Index: Star on top
The Juggernaut Index is our annual attempt to rank every NFL team for fantasy purposes. We're not concerned with real-life wins and losses here, only fantasy potential. These rankings are not to be questioned.
