The Pretenders showed up once again as they fell to the last place Kangaroos this week.
A big trade was made as the trade deadline approached. The Pride gave up Johan Santana to the Milford Zepplins in exchange for Ryan Howard. The Pride had been in numerous talks all week trying to deal a SP for a top end slugger as they felt they were dealing from strength with the return of the recently claimed Chris Young to their rotation. Rumor has it they would have preferred a 3B, but how could they pass up a slugger of Howards abilities?
