Significant Moves
Um, the London Knights added Mike Aviles in place of Ramon Vazquez, Solent Vipers dropped Casey Kotchman to pick up Mike Hampton and Essex Eagles dumped two Brians (Shouse & Bannister), and that, gentlemen, is that.

As I said in the H2HWS update, this week always throws up a few bizarre results. The big beneficiaries of this very tactical week were the London Knights, for whom everything went right in an 11-0 victory over Guildford (only Wins were tied, 1-1). Guildford didn't have a bad week - the bats went 13-4-16-0-.306-.879 - it just wasn't as good as the Knights' week was.
Also doing well this week - and in the nick of time, as their lead was gradually being eroded - were the Havant Hackers, who beat Oxford 11-1, losing only Holds. Suddenly their lead is nearly 10 games again. The big game highlighted in last week's Blog - Dunstable vs Enfield - went the way of Enfield, who jumped 4 places back into the playoffs after their 9-3 win. Bizarrely, Dunstable also climbed one place!
After their big defeat, Oxford slumped 3 places; also falling a few were Woking, beaten by bottom of the table Bognor, 7-3. That was only Bognor's second win of the season, it is also the first time in a long, long time that Woking have been out of the top 6.
Elsewhere, London Bananas had a nice 7-2 win over St. Leonard's, keeping themselves firmly in the playoff picture. On the fringes are Essex Eagles (6-4 winners over Bromley) and Orpington Dodgers, after a 5-5 tie with Sussex. Last year's champs Felixstowe put up a good performance in holding high-flying Solent to a 6-6 tie, but their chances of repeating 2007 are fading fast, as they remain 12 games back of 6th spot.
Into Week 17, and we have some very nice ties to look forward to, as 1st plays 3rd, 4th meets 6th and 7th takes on 8th. Orpington & Dunstable (in 9th & 10th) will look to capitalise on the fact that several teams above them are playing each other, whilst there is a nice little needle match between the only two teams to win this championship, as London Bananas take on Felixstowe Fury.

i swear to .. .. you are the luckiest guy i know. Its so figures you would get an 11-0 in the short week. You are a game and half away from a bye.
