Well it looks like it is going to be San Fransisco and San Fransisco advancing to the Inglewood quarter finals, as both the Pacificans and Giants cruised to easy victories.
The Pacificans attack was lead by Alex Rodriguez early and often, and somebody must have told Kid Wonderful that these Yankee games are meaningless, because he simply teed off. It was a great run by the Cal Blaze, but in the end Grady Sizemore and company simply came up short.
A collection of scribes to help you set your week one roster. If there is somebody you like to read regularly, let me know, and we will be sure to link to them. I will probably pare this list down a bit as the season goes on, in an attempt to just keep the best sources of information.
hope it helps.
Well, it appears that whatever Labor Day plans I had fell through and I
figure to post my blog entry as scheduled. This last entry for the
regular season is going to be more casual than usual as for some
fantasy managers, their seasons are over while for those left standing,
the real season begins: a 4-week stretch that promises action, drama,
I had an opportunity to get into the playoffs with Yucca going 0-12 and just couldn't put it all together. A sub-.500 finish is pretty disappointing for me. There's always next year though and I've still got the USA West league. Good luck in the playoffs to our top 6!
Well I suppose I should get a little something up here. :)
Being a holiday weekend and all, I haven't had a chance to replace my high end keyboard yet, and today happens to be my sons birthday, so I can't see it happening today either. Surprisingly, my fingers are somewhat evolving to this GE keyboard. Yes i said GE.
I'm probably having an Andy Rooney moment as I'm being nitpicky about
nothing but I found last night's closing ceremony of the Beijing
Olympics to be a downer. It's difficult to try and upstage the emphatic
yet intricate pageantry of the opening ceremony and it would be an
injustice to compare the two, but it's worth noting that the ending was
a surprisingly anti-climactic one. If you caught the tail end of the
show, you would've seen world-class tenor Placido Domingo sing a duet
with a famous Chinese soprano singer sing a little ditty dubbed with a
rather corny (yet risque) title called "The Flame of Love".
